​Hurricane season officially begins on June 1st, it's crucial for our Florida residents to begin to finalize their preparations if you haven't already. Now is the time to assemble an emergency kit with essentials, review your evacuation plan and insurance policies, and secure your home to protect against potential storms. Items such as flashlights, batteries, water and a list of items are kept available during the season. Carmen A. Gray is a sought-after Keynote Speaker and Trainer with over 20 years of experience in the US and abroad. Ms. Gray is the mother of two beautiful children, Destiny Gray and her slain son, Curtis Israel Gray whose life was violently taken on April 13, 2019. As a result of his death, Carmen founded the non-profit organization, LLC Rise Above the Violence, Inc., which will serve communities impacted by violence through emotional resilience courses to educate communities and their youth on positive mental health as well as how to heal in the aftermath of a crisis.
